However, the concern of people in business is that, should this be the trend, companies will stand to lose a lot of money in pay offs alone. When companies lose money that way, that expense somehow finds itself added on to the cost of the product. Another concern, on the consumer side, is that a law may be passed that would make it impossible to sue companies through the small claims court. That would limit the legal recourse consumers can turn to in order to address product/service issues that can be resolved in court.
