Very concerned - not addressing will result in future economic problems that will be greater than the current recession

Slightly concerned - future tax increases and economic growth will eventually generate a budget surplus

The United States budget deficit, both current and cumulative has the potential to cause a second great depression in the future as well as bankrupting the country. Reducing the level of spending and balancing the budget are very important, yet seem to be ignored currently.
