With climate change at the back of everyone's mind, the drive of clean energy has soldiered on. The Cape Wind project has long been waiting for approval—prevented by protests from the more moneyed residents off the coast (of destroying their view), nature preservation groups (of destroying the ecological situation,) and two tribes (of interfering with cultural practices and destroying a possible heritage site.)
But with America lagging behind many other countries who have opted for green power, Cape Wind is a conundrum of priorities.
