Yes, with the growing resistance to certain strains of bacteria—the excessive use of antibiotics to treat livestock must be curbed.

No, the government shouldn't interfere with things it doesn't know anything about—every farmer knows what is best for his livestock.

I don't know.

As we develop stronger antibiotics, we also inadvertently create the environment for antibiotic-resistant bacteria to thrive and develop. How these increasingly difficult-to-control organisms are in our supermarket must give us pause.
