Yes, in protecting patents you value innovation and creativity.

Yes, putting limits usually pushes those who are creative to find a better way. Competition benefits consumers.

No, this would scare innovators from trying anything new giving the stronger and more moneyed company a monopoly. That's never good for the consumer.
