Before the juggernaut social network Facebook, there was Friendster (and MySpace but that's another story altogether.) And though various efforts—focusing on emerging markets, a complete rebranding—were employed hoping to revive the brand in the face of facebook (pardon the pun,) they've finally thrown in the towel. Seeking a new identity as a gaming site, Friendster will delete user content by the 31st of May. What do you think?
