Scared. Why does the FCC want to take over the internet, isn't the worldwideweb the only bastion of unregulated space left?

About time. How else can we ensure that the market for Internet access remains, open, nondiscriminatory and competitive to protect consumer's rights.

The Republicans are screaming bloody murder, threatening everyone that big government via the FCC is coming to lord over the Internet. But red herrings aside, the FCC reclassification proposal comes at the heels of stopping Comcast from allowing access to peer-to-peer sharing networks. So maybe some simmering down is in order along with a cold dash of common sense.
