At the Little Village Academy, a public school in Chicago's West Side, school lunches are the only choice for the students except if the child has food allergies. Determining that the lunches prepared by a harried parent (perhaps working two jobs to pay for the mortgage) are not as healthy as what is prepared by the lunch lady—Little Village Academy has banned home cooked or packed lunches altogether. What do you think of this policy?
