It sometimes look like American parents have stopped parenting their kids. Instead of being a parent to their kids, they’ve been trying to be buddies or guilty parents that give in to their kids because they’ve been spending most of their time elsewhere. A friend relayed to me that she once when to a ball game where a mother told her son to go ahead and throw french fries at guy wearing a kolb Jersey. When her son did exactly that, she laughed at his antics.
