Females, from little girls to grown up women, are getting more acceptance in terms of going for things that were previously thought of as befitting only the male of the species. Little girls can wear baseball uniforms and throw a mean pitch and not get much of a reaction. However, boys are still confined to acting as masculine as possible. The metrosexual trend may be gaining popularity, but a mom painting a little boy’s toenails pink in an ad got a very strong reaction from several groups....

So how is it that a Dad teaching her daughter how to play baseball does not get reactions like the Dad should be saving up for his daughter’s future need for therapy but a mom who paints her son’s toenails pink does?
