There is currently a campaign demanding that Facebook change their settings to allow millions of transgender people all around the world to be recognized. Right now, Facebook forces its members to choose between male and female, even if their gender doesn't fit in those checkboxes. The campaign was blogged, tweeted, and shared thousands of times. The goal is to get Facebook to open its door to people of all gender identities.
