The prospect of an early release has angered John Foreman, Jason's father.
The issue here is: Is it OK for Woodmansee to be in the streets again? For some, this just shows how the US justice system is all screwed up. Woodmansee killed Jason in a very brutal manner. He was even accused of eating the child. Putting him back in the street will endanger more kids.
But some say Woodmansee has already been rehabilitated. It is time society to forgive him since he was already imprisoned and suffered for his crimes. Woodmansee did serve a significant portion of his sentence and hopefully received a lot of rehabilitation.
What do you think?
