It was no surprise that the French and the Americans approached the issue of DSK and his alleged sexual misconduct differently. But it was truly emphasized with how French society followed the bail hearing of the resigned IMF chief. But at the risk of perpetuating stereotypes, it seems that the outcry of France regarding DSK (and the whispers of a conspiracy theory) may be rooted in a cultural problem with seeing the elite being treated like the commoner.
