Yes, I think the exile is enough. If the survivor herself doesn't see how is a threat to society, then why should his life and work be curtailed?

No, wouldn't this set a precedent for sex offenders? There are reasons why sexual consent can't be given by a minor and Polanski took advantage of his powerful position, as an older man with influence.
