Ok. Here we go again. GMA Network is about to launch another one of those drama series that has a fair-skinned actress all blackened up and playing a dark-skinned girl that has to struggle through life simply because of the color of her skin. In a country where few of its citizens are fair-skinned, does did not send the wrong message to most Filipinos that being dark-skinned is so strongly discriminated against that it can become that much of a handicap? To aggravate matters, this drama series targets teens as its market segment.
