In an unprecedented move, the top brass from Warner Bros. terminated Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men following the actor's controversial personal life and a bitter media campaign against his studio bosses. In a brief statement, Warner Bros. Television said that the action was taken after "careful consideration" and was effective immediately,



Yet some critics disagree with Warner Bros. action. According to Brad Adgate of the ad firm Horizon Media, Men would not succeed without Sheen: "He's irreplaceable" and "far too dominant a character; the show really revolves around him."



Also, the sudden decision will surely trigger a big lawsuit. Sheen’s lawyer, Martin Singer has already threatened to sue Warner Bros. for an estimated of $16 million ($ 2 million per eight episode of the 8th season), and Sheen echoed that threat.
