Same sex unions and marriages are increasingly being recognized and institutionalized country after county. It has been a tedious and, hard battle for LGBT activists and supporters but it has also resulted in slow and steady gains.



Anti-gay union/marriage groups have decried this development as destructive to the institution of marriage as well as “immoral”. However, proponents of LGBT rights feel that it’s about time that discrimination against people with different sexual orientations should stop and that they be accorded equal rights like the ones heterosexuals enjoy.
