Justin Bieber is venturing to other genres, and prominently in hip-hop. Recently Bieber was denied the request to perform on BET hip-hop awards. He requested Ludacris to create lyrics for him to perform in the awards, but he was denied. Using lyrics from other stars are acceptable, but is frowned upon in rapping as this signifies credibility.
