Matt Damon stood up for teacher recently at a march for schools in Washington, DC recently. When a TV reporter commented that a lack of job security is what makes people work hard and made references to the acting profession, Damon responded: "You think job insecurity is what makes me work hard? I want to be an actor. That's not an incentive ... It's like saying a teacher is going to get lazy when they have tenure. A teacher wants to teach. I mean, why else would you take a sh*tty salary and really long hours and do that job unless you really love to do it?"
