Yes, definitely. A celebrity, though not necessarily an expert, has the ear of the people. It is irresponsible of the celebrity to think otherwise.

Yes, except not to an extreme that another person's interpretation of what was said can be used against said celebrity. How people filter a public statement is not their problem.

No. People are smarter. Just because they recognize someone from TV or from magazines and newspapers—it doesn't mean that their word is gold.

No, their statement are easily taken out of context by unscrupulous individuals who wish to push their own agenda or seek their space in the spotlight.
