Telefonica Germany, a leading provider of broadband and telecommunications in Germany, recently fired model Vanessa Hessler for her public statements defending her boyfriend Mutassim Gadhafi and his family. Mutassim Gadhafi died in the hands of his rebel captors not long after he was captured.
Hessler had said in and interview with the Italian media that countries were wrong in supporting the Libyan rebels and that the portrayal of the media of the Gadhafis and the rebels were wrong.
