The US-based news outfits went gaga over Park51 issue that became so hot it became a national debate. Also, there was the Quran burning story which had even the highest in political power giving their two cents worth both actively and passively. But the question is whether or not this was such an important topic that the whole country stuck like glue to the issue. Some say that it was because of all the press, it started from there. What do you guys think? Was it because of the press?
