In a recent article, one in three U.S. veterans of the post-9/11 military believes the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were not worth fighting. Also, a majority think that after 10 years of combat, America should focus less on foreign affairs and more on its own problems. This is according to an opinion survey. If the soldiers themselves say that the war is not needed, and these are people who are in the frontlines of it, do civilians share the same opinion?
