As a reaction to a South Carolina detention center’s policies that reportedly limit prison inmates to reading only the Bible, the American Civil Liberties Union is pushing for a move that would allow inmates to read porn. A preliminary hearing on this is scheduled to be held next month.

Detention officials, meanwhile, think this is a bad idea saying that such a policy can lead to more assaults as well as create a more hostile environment.
