Some political commentators are saying that the current policy of Republicans seems to run along the lines of "we oppose everything Obama is for, even if it's a tax cut" - an intellectually vacant and potentially dangerous position. This kind of behavior from the Republicans have been credited for the much-observed exercise of political brinkmanship that is adding burden to a country that is in dire need of recovery. Republicans will, of course, defend their moves as a necessary evil IF they even acknowledge these as remotely evil and contrary to the interest of most Americans.
