Alpha females, like their alpha male counterparts, are women who are successful at work while being able to hit the gym. They are independent and competent and strive for leadership roles in the many areas that used to be the domain of men. They’re the absolute opposite of damsels in distress so are in no need of knights in shining armors to rescue them.
