In the TV series “Lie To Me”, Dr. Cal Lightman had the ability to tell if a person is lying based on body language and microexpressions in the face. If a person indeed had this ability, it will significantly affect the relationships they have in their lives. For one thing, how can another person live with a person that can “read” you? For another thing, will it not make relationships boring if you can easily detect what another person is up to?
