The tragic event which saw the Costa Concordia cruise ship going down off the west coast of Italy this January also saw a inspiring if heartbreaking act of love for one’s spouse. Francis Servel gave to his wife, Nicole, the only life jacket that they were able to get soon after the cruise ship hit rocks. Nicole, 61, didn’t know how to swim.
