We're all hyper-aware of just how dangerous bullying can be. And I'm sure you all feel at the very least that a child should be protected from such horrendous behavior. But when a parent allows her child to undergo surgery to correct perhaps a prominent nose or protruding ears, isn't it sending the wrong message to the child? Or are the parents giving their child a better chance at life? There are real problems with children undergoing plastic surgery for the pageants, but what do you think about allowing them to save them from the fury of some ignorant bullies?
