Some OB-GYNs have refused to accept overweight pregnant women as patients because of the increased risks involved, they claim that it's their way of protecting themselves from more lawsuits involving malpractice—because an overweight woman's pregnancy is more likely to have complications than if a woman who was not overweight. What do you think?
