Read more …As gender roles evolve, the subject of child birth seems to go according to a trend—natural all the way, drugged up to the nines, in a bath, standing up, without screaming. But the question about whether or not the father should be in the room has yet to be settled. Some mothers claim that it stresses them out, while some fathers actually regret having been there for the birth. Because childbirth is not the rainbows and cotton candy fancy that some movies have depicted it to be, the men stop being attracted to their wives. There are camps that says that a father tends to feel useless and therefore should not be made to stand there through the procedure. But it all sounds like a matter of choice.
