Cigarette companies and their products were taxed to have them shoulder part of the treatment costs required to treat those affected by their products.
Why not do the same with Food processing companies that provide “unhealthy”, fat inducing and non nutritious foods?
If it can reduce the burden to the health industry and improve the well being of the population should we not tax the culprits?
