Collaborating with the National Parks Services, doctors will start prescribing walks in the park to cure certain conditions. For example, asthma is usually aggravated by indoor pollutants and therefore a walk in the outdoors may benefit someone who is suffering from it. Outdoor play has also been seen as working well to control the difficulties of ADHD. Most obviously, a walk in the park would help prevent childhood obesity. But do you feel like you're getting your healthcare's worth if the doctor prescribes a walk outdoors?
