Why this poll was created

OVER the past 80 years, the United States government has engineered not one, not two, not three, but at least four rescues of the institution now known as Citigroup. In previous instances, the bank came back from the crisis and prospered.

    Citi is suffering right now only because the fed is meddling in banking and business more than they should be.

    They like most other US banks are bankrupt. They should sell as much of their non core banking assets as possible.

    It is bankrupt anyway;
    just have them sell the worthwhile assets, and go back to core lending business.

    No! Citi is breaking itself up, or at least dissolving into a bunch of independent subsidiaries.
