So it's strange that Ron Paul suddenly joined forces with Barney Frank to propose that marijuana be legalized and conversely, taxed and regulated. They're doing this bipartisan action in hopes that federal funding can be diverted away from enforcing the ban and running after gangs and dealers towards more important matters. General consensus is that it will be debated more in the media than in the House as it has been brought to the floor so many times before and failed. Nevertheless, Ron Paul and Barney Frank are such and odd but formidable pairing that it just might work. What do you think?
