With the United States possibly going to default, it is obvious that the Republicans are not seeing or not paying attention to what's happening in the country. With the United States possibly going to default, it is obvious that the Republicans are not seeing or not paying attention to what's happening in the country. Though the Treasury Department (the ones in charge of the government bankbook) have set the August 2 deadline—Rep. Joe Walsh from Illinois insists that the Treasury department is still part of the Obama administration and therefore can't be trusted. Rep. Michele Bachmann also pushes that the government will always find a way to pay their debt (or at the very least—interest)—a statement that would probably win over the voters but anyone who starts to think will realize that it doesn't work. What is happening?
