Lou Dobbs recently stopped doing his long-running show on CNN. He may be retiring, he may have been fired, or he may have much bigger plans.
Dobbs has name recognition, well-known views on an issue voters care about, and lots of experience in front of a camera. These skills make him a daunting candidate. And at his age, it's hard to start a political career anywhere but at the top.
