By including nuclear weapons-related activities of the Department of Energy, Dept of Veterans Affairs, and other national security spending not factored into the baseline defense budget, total U.S. defense spending exceeds $1 trillion per year, depending on the source. When is enough enough??? The budget should not only be frozen, it should be cut..... deeply.
