The American Power Act was a flop and now the US is no where close to getting any form of environmental bill on the road (although we all hope otherwise). But back in 1979, President Jimmy Carter had solar panels installed at the White House. Bill McKibben from 350.org thinks that it would be a novel idea for President Obama to have the solar panel re-installed along with newer ones (just because the climate legislation failed to launch)....
