At the end of 2010, the Bush Tax cuts, which extends to all American tax payers, will expire. Now the Democrats argue that extending the tax cuts to the rich will cost the government $7 Billion over 10 years, which is why they want to limit the extensions of the tax cuts. Republicans on the other hand say that this measure won't save the economy, but less spending will.
