Do you think that allowing Walmart to compete could be the start of something big? Would it provide work, and would the city benefit by millions in tax revenue? Walmart consumers are supposed to get a better bang for their buck, and many New Yorkers can’t afford to pay extra. They need the affordable clothing and food and drug options Walmart offers. But a New York Study also says that the retailer will kill 14,000 jobs... So what is the whole story about? What do you think? And would you want a Wallmart in your community?
