Obama has a lot of things going for him in spite of the fact that he may need to win re-election in a landscape that has seen one of its highest unemployment ever. For starters, he is a sitting president and has the traditional advantage of incumbency. Other than that, Obama also can rely on his campaign infrastructure and the same Republican demographic weaknesses that haunted his political opponents in 2008.
