As has been mentioned in several articles and forums on the matter, Mitt Romney’s problem is not that he’s rich. His main problem is that the image out there of him suggests a strong affinity for the rich and a disconnect with middle class Americans not to mention those who are living below that socioeconomic line. At a time when the economy is at one of its worst ever, it is not surprising that voters would like to know that the person they’d vote into office is someone who can feel their pain.
