Republican lawmakers have had to remove the term "forcible rape" from an antiabortion bill in Congress after an uproar from women's groups resulted in accusing them of trying to change the definition of rape. Given the argument that rape cannot be anything but done by force, does this suggest that some lawmakers still have a poor understanding of what rape is and its impact on its victims?
