Poll Analysis

Tucson, Arizona shooter Jared Loughner, who is responsible for killing several people including a little girl and a judge, may be declared incompetent to face trial right now. However, a team of mental health professionals are likely to work hard in order to restore his competency so that he can stand trial for the crime he has been accused of committing. That regardless, does the practice of getting a person to become mentally better in order to face trial, when he was in a disturbed frame of mind during the commission of a crime, make sense?
