America is spending somewhere around $700 billion annually just to equip the military. This is allotting so much resources on wars that don’t even concern us to the detriment of what should be our priorities like public education, health care, among many other more pressing things. If we don’t stop this, don’t you think we may be going the route of the Soviet Union which spent so much money on arming itself and for what?
