Poll Analysis

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis) had unemployed Americans stage a sit-in to protest Ryan’s proposals to cut down social programs as well as his new policy of not holding free public meetings with constituents during the congressional recess.

In the summer of 2009, had hosted some 17 town halls. But this coming September, Ryan’s town-hall style event will charge $15 as admission. This is according to the Whitnall Park Rotary Club, which is hosting the Milwaukee-area event.
