In Malaysia, corrupt people are being reported at an increasing rate thanks to a Whistleblower Act which came into force in December last year. This, in effect, is creating a huge database of people who are actively engaging in corruption. The end goal of the act is, obviously, to significantly reduce corruption in the country and encourage more transparency in government and commercial transactions that can enormous national and societal impact.
Should the U.S. follow suit?
