When Mitt Romney’s term as governor of Massachusetts ended in 2007, his aides purchased the hard drives of the computers issued by the state during Romney’s term to the tune of nearly $100,000.00. Although there is nothing illegal with what Romney’s aides did, it was a fairly uncommon practice for governors who are about to leave their offices.
