What is even more disturbing is how someone with obvious mental health issues was able to purchase the gun that he used in the shooting. As Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin, D-Ill. said on CNN's State of the Union, "at some point we need to ask the question: How did this man with this history of mental instability end up with this weapon...?"
